DLSAA Washington DC Chapter Elects New Board

The De La Salle Alumni Association of Washington DC elected its new set of officers during their recently-held annual picnic at Burke Lake Park.  The chapter has the distinction of having a lady president in Eileen Nadal B.S. Commerce'84.  The other officers are: Ted Aspillera GS'73 LSGH'77, vice president; Joel Velilla B.S. Commerce'73, treasurer; Alex Araque A.B. Political Science'91, public relations officer; and Kristina Caigas-Estipular B.S. Industrial Management Engineering'01, secretary.

Philippine Cultural Attache Rico Fos led attendees at the annual picnic/elections.  Other alumni included Tito Alisuag, Malu Araque, Wilma Reyes, Ron Diokno and Johnny Roque.  Prospy Hernandez presided over the elections.  Outgoing president Adjo Gonzales thanked the assembly for helping the projects during his term, among them, Bahay Pag-Asa, Operation Alkansiya, Shenandoah Mountain camp and the Philippine Independence Parade.
