Annual Picnic Raises Funds, Too!

The DLSAANC Annual Family Picnic last Saturday July 25, 2009 at Lake Elizabeth Park in Fremont, CA was a fun and enjoyable day with family, friends and fellow Lasallians. The turnout was about 70 including the kids. We were blessed with wonderful weather and abundance of food. The energy and enthusiasm of everyone contributed to the success of the event. The Walk for Life pledges, sales proceeds of the DLS golf hats, and association fees from new members amounted to almost $1000 and more than covered the expenses of the picnic. Most especially, it was the cheerful camaraderie that bound us together again as one community, One La Salle!

To all members who participated, shared their favorite dish, gave cash donations and solicited pledges for the Walk for Life project, brought their tents and tables, barbecued, manned the registration, a BIG THANK YOU for making this a great event. Let the spirit of La Salle live on!
