    Thank You From Br. Armin

    De La Salle President and Chancellor Br. Armin Luistro, FSC, formally thanked De La Salle Alumni Association of Northern California and La Salle Philippines Alumni Association chapter presidents Art Dancel and Eileen Nadal, respectively, for their leadership in raising funds for the victims of Typhoon Ondoy in the Philippines. The two overseas chapters remitted their combined cash donation to the DLSAA Relief Fund last October 14 in order to immediately help the unfortunate victims of Typhoon Ondoy.

    The full text of Br. Armin's letter is as follows:

    26 October 2009

    Dear Art, Eileen and the Members of DLSAANC,

    Greetings of PEACE!

    On behalf of the De La Salle University, its partner communities and the victims of the recent typhoons, I wish to express my sincerest gratitude for your unwavering help and support in times when our countrymen need the most. Truly, your contribution of $2835 will go along way in aiding the relief and rehabilitation efforts for those who were affected the most. For your reference, attached is the Sagip Metro report. I wish you well in all your future endeavors and I pray that you continue bringing hope especially to the least of our brethren.
