DLSU Opens College of Law

The De La Salle University College of Law is set to open this coming school year! The admission process is now completed with around 230 applicants taking the entrance examinations. Dean Jose Manuel Diokno said they offered admission to the top 100 who passed the entrance examinations. So far, 60 have signified their intention to enroll. Newly–installed chair of the Legal Education Board (the government body that will take over Commission on Higher Education’s regulatory functions over law schools) Justice Hilarion Aquino conducted an inspection last March 25 and expressed his satisfaction and approval of the school’s newly-established College of Law. The faculty roster for the first semester has been finalized and the first faculty development seminar conducted has been conducted as well. The Dean and the Vice Dean, Atty. Gil De Los Reyes, are alumni of our schools. Classes begin on May 31.
