Maloles Victorious @ Poppy Hills

May 19, 2012 -- Nutsie Maloles beat Rico Medina via a tiebreaker to win the DLS Greens May golf tournament held at the popular Pebble Beach golf destination, Poppy Hills Golf Course.

Nutsie and Rico both scored net even par 72 but the former prevailed due to a better back nine score. A stroke back for solo third place was DLS Greens guest golfer Manny Quiogue.  Ron Riego de Dios and Manny Noguera placed 4th and 5th, respectively, to complete the Top 5 golfers of the day.

Due to the limited number of competitors (16), this month's tournament was not broken down into two divisions as it has been done in all previous tournaments. The individual net scores were simply tabulated to determine the day's winners.

Another guest golfer, Gary Sneper, won one of the day's two closest-to-the-pin honors. Irvin Sevilla won the other bragging rights.
