It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Ms. Josefina Alburo, once the oldest living teacher of La Salle. She was my grade 1 teacher in 1960. She was with La Salle for more than 50 years. She has seen so many of her students reach great heights in her life. She was to receive the Distinguished Lasallian Award this year but unfortunately she did not reach it. Good bye Ms. Alburo. The whole Lasallian community will miss you.
